Wonderful to be back…..in early October 2022, Family Support Network converted it’s CBD office and was able to hold supported Playgroups once again. We held Reconnect Morning Tea events in Lismore and Nimbin and it was so great to meet with the many wonderful families and, it is even more wonderful to see those faces often returning.
We were positively surprised at how well the space has worked at our offices and how well attended the groups have been. We do however continue to search for another premise for Lismore Playgroup after losing our South Lismore location in the Feb 2022 Flood, there are challenges in the current space and we really appreciate the community supporting the group while we operate out of our CBD Office.
So many babies…..we now have a separate group on Tuesdays just for them, FSN holds two supported playgroups in Lismore on Tuesdays and Thursdays alongside Nimbin which offers supported playgroups on Wednesdays weekly.
When families and children come to the Lismore and Nimbin Supported Playgroups, there is a celebration of community and connection. FSN strives to create a supported playgroup environment that is fun, friendly, inclusive, and informative. Whether there is a visitor from the local library, a science experiment being done in the activity room, or families and children gathering for free play in the playroom, supported playgroup is a space for everyone to learn and grow. We hope to see you there!
