Families joined us this winter school holidays for a morning of colourful craft and creativity in Lismore. Children worked with coloured sands to create vibrant, decorated stencils. This kind of messy, sensory play helps children tap into their natural curiosity and expression – and this certainly showed up in their beautiful, bright creations (with no need for parents to worry about cleaning up!)
The kids, and some artistic parents, also got busy decorating their own calico bags to take home. There were so many bright and unique creations among the group, and the FSN team really enjoyed seeing all the creative and colourful masterpieces come to life. Bringing families together for these creative activities is always a fun way to engage with art and crafts, and connect with our community.
Keep an eye on our What’s On calendar for our next round of free school holiday activities.
