Play Together

Connecting Families and Supporting Development Through Play
Family Support Network offers free, supported playgroups designed for parents and carers with children from birth to school age. Led by experienced and qualified practitioners, our playgroups provide safe, welcoming spaces where children can explore, play, and learn through a variety of age-appropriate activities.
Sessions are designed to support early development while fostering a sense of community among families. With a mix of structured experiences and relaxed social time, parents, carers and children can strengthen their relationships, build skills and confidence, and develop valuable social and support networks in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
A nutritious morning tea is provided for the children, and tea and coffee are available for parents and carers.
Our high-quality playgroup programs are based on the core characteristics identified in the Playgroup Principles by the Australian Institute of Family Studies, promoting pathways to school and emphasising the importance of early childhood education for wellbeing. The curriculum for our groups is informed by the NSW Early Years Learning Framework and the PEEP Learning Together Program.
