Creativity in Bloom with Paint & Pot School Holiday Activity

On 1 October 2026, Family Support Network (FSN) hosted a free school holiday activity at Nesbitt Park, South Lismore. Our Paint & Pot activity was the perfect way to celebrate the Spring school holidays, and we were delighted to welcome families for a fun and creative morning out in the sunshine.

Children were invited to choose a terracotta pot and decorate it in their own unique style. The activity showcased plenty of imagination, with colourful designs and creative patterns. Once their masterpieces were complete, each child selected a plant to pot up and take home.

The morning was filled with laughter, creativity, and happy faces as children proudly worked on their creations and shared the experience with family and friends. It was wonderful to see so many young people getting involved, expressing themselves through art, and enjoying time outdoors.

At the end of the activity, each child left with their personalised potted plant, giving them something special to care for and enjoy at home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a positive and memorable school holiday event.
