Nimbin Bush Theatre Youth Excursion

Thanks to the support of the NSW Office for Youth, FSN coordinated another exciting school holiday excursion for local young people. Catching up with friends at the movies is a perfect rainy winter’s day pastime so we invited young people to come along the Nimbin Bush Theatre over the school holidays to enjoy a screening of the modern classic, Napoleon Dynamite.

The Nimbin Bush Theatre is housed in the old Butter Factory and is surrounded by beautiful gardens, a winding creek and peaceful bushland; the space created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for participants to enjoy and connect with their peers. The group enjoyed a selection of sandwiches for lunch, along with a variety of snacks while watching the movie.

Once again, Sohdi Bus Transport provided safe and reliable travel to and from the theatre – we’d like to thank the team at Sohdi for their ongoing service and support, enabling us to safely transport young people to a variety of activities and excursions.

These excursions are an important opportunity for our youth to socialise, build friendships, experience new places and create positive memories together – it was wonderful to see young people connecting with one another and friendships forming throughout the day.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience in a beautiful local setting and a great day was enjoyed by all!
