Creative Connections at Kids Art Workshop

It was a busy and creative morning at our Kids Art Workshop over the summer school holidays, with families enjoying a range of hands-on artistic activities. Three different art creation stations were set up for families to explore, including calico bag decorating, rock painting, and crafting colourful cellophane sun catchers. The workshop was offered at FSN’s fabulous new space on Carrington Street, with plenty of room for families to move between activities at their own pace, trying out each creative experience.

Activities were designed to engage families of all ages, with the brightly coloured cellophane sun catcher creations a firm favorite with many participants. Children and their families enjoyed designing their own unique sun catchers, each one turning out beautifully different.

Art and creative experiences offer a powerful platform for connection and community, and it was wonderful to see families spending time together, getting creative, and socialising while taking part in the activities. The workshop was filled with colour, creativity, and plenty of smiles as kids and parents connected throughout the morning.
