Parenting Groups in 2020
Parenting Groups can help you build a positive relationship with your child, understand what motivates their behaviour and improve parent-child communication. We will commence another round of parenting groups in Term 1 February to April 2020.

Circle Of Security with Kelly
Tuesdays 8 sessions starting 11 February 2020 from 10.00am to 12.30pm.
Circle of security can help parents nurture their child’s attachment, strengthen their emotional resilience and support their freedom to explore.
Secure children have increased empathy, greater self-esteem and better relationships.
For parents of children aged 2 to 12 years. Venue to be advised.

Dads Stuff with Greg
A group for men in a fathering role, including pops, carers, uncles and dads. We cover topics including managing change, understanding behaviour, "Dad Maintenance" and child development.
Afternoon Tea included.

123 Magic with Gudrun
Thursdays 12 to 26 March 2020 (3 Sessions) from 10.00am to 12.30pm.
123 Magic & Emotion Coaching is a free parenting course, designed to provide parents and carers with skills to prevent or manage common behaviour problems. The program also helps parents / carers to build positive relationships with their children and explores ways to make parenting more enjoyable .
Come and meet other parents /carers and share your experiences in a supportive and non judgemental environment ! Held at 41 Wilson Street, South Lismore. Morning tea included. RSVP to 6621 2489.
Looking after your family is a big job. At Family Support Network we recognise that for parents raising children and managing multiple responsibilities is often a juggle. In recognition of this Family Support Network is offering a series of informative, educative and practical skills sessions to help parents and carers balance the many challenges of raising children and providing for their family.
Sessions will include tips and support for managing the family budget, returning to education and work, maintaining work life balance, family activities, getting to know the resources of your local community, building resilience and many other practical and informative topics.
